      food was good, large chosie

mattress was very poor, room wasnt ready till 5pm,lots of dogs in rooms!

    • Single
      3.4

      Bed was comfortable

bad cleanliness, mouldy showerhead and grouting in bathroom, very slow running sink drain, no toiletries provided at all not even a small bar of soap, very poor quality breakfast using cheap ingredients, uncleared, dirty tables in breakfast room, chipped crockery. Absolutey appalling for the price. There are no excuses for poor cleanliness.

    • Group of friends
      3.2

Nothing, there was no soap in bathroom, bathroom was dusty behind door, shower head wouldn't use as it didn't look clean, breakast left a lot to be desire, bacon looked uncooked, sausages looked as they had been boiled and then deep fried, milk cartons had to be removed as they were off. Would never stay there again or recommend it. The staff were okay but when promised soap for bathroom it never arrived. Talking to other guests they had the same problem. I would have thought it was against health and safety regulations not to provide soap for hand washing at least. Had it been mentioned in details of hotel that you had to bring own soak etc I would have done so but have never had to do that in the past anywhere.

it was a very good price, there was a bar there so it was easy to eat and drink there.

did not have eggs at breakfast. waited a long time to grt served during the lunch time

Friendly staff, comfortable bedroom and lounge/bar a good selection of food at breakfast time. Reception staff dealt efficiently with my paper work in all an enjoyable stay used this venue on other occcasions and will certainly return.

Very pleasant and welcoming staff, both on reception and in the bar area.

was greatvalue good for young children excellent breakfast

room was not as clean as i would expect in the bathroom the tile grouting was discoloured and round the bottom of toilet was what looked like bad limescale, not very attractive!

    • Older travelers

OK nothing too fancy but acceptable for the price.

Allows dogs great if you have or like them, I had to call reception 3 times over 45 mins as there was a dog in a nearby room constantly yapping.

I stayed due to proximity to Bristol airport and chose the hotel due to the price - £30 instead of the Holiday Inn at £100 that was only 15mins closer to the airport

Was not overly impressed by the grotty showerhead that had not been cleaned in at least a year and when I pulled the top covers off the bed there were insects crawling over the bed and me!

the convenience of access to the M5

    • Older travelers
      5.4

Bed comfortable & rooms were closed off from noise of function rooms.

Bathroom had obviously suffered a very bad flooding and decoration was poor. Show curtain and floor appeared filthy. I asked at the bar for a large bottle of water and I was told that the small bottle was the only size available. I asked the price of it and was told £5. When I queried this the barman told me that the hotel was not a supermarket.

convenient for motorway and Clevedon. Quiet as away from local pubs. easy to park . powerful shower

we stayed less than a year ago and standards have gone down - shame but can no longer recommend - eg instant coffe in the restaurant and dirty cutlery

    • Older travelers
      8.2

Value for money. Reasonably priced food available.

Toilet was permanently stained. Some. Deeper cleaning around the bath is needed.

    • Older travelers

It was convenient for our journey between Somerset and South Wales. The beds were very comfortable and we got a good night's sleep.

It has seen better days. The staff were thin on the ground - we had to search for a receptionist in the bar next door. Everything is a bit run down -bedroom decor is faded and a bit grubby, bathroom shows signs of water damage. The adjacent restaurant is feels equally grubby and the tops of the tables are sticky. The Breakfast was very budget, with non-existent staff.

    • Older travelers
      5.8

It was convenient for our planned visit to the National Trust property at Tyntesfield

The adjoining "Hungry Horse" dining establishment was too down-market for our tastes with it's unappealing (albeit cheap) menu
